Live-in care provides 24/7 support for those with complex needs who wish to remain in their own homes. With expert care around the clock, you feel secure, supported and comfortable at home. A full-time professional carer ensures your safety and well-being and allows your family members to enjoy quality time with you.

Respite/temporary Live-in Care

This service is for carers supporting loved ones with care at home. Do you:

Provide full or part-time care to someone?
Need a break from your responsibilities as a carer?
Need someone to step in while you are away or on a break?

If you answered YES to one or more of the above, then we can help. If you are caring for someone recently discharged from the hospital, you may be eligible for funded respite care through Involve Kent. The NHS also offers a comprehensive guide on respite care, which can be found here.

Which areas do you cover?

For live-in care, we cover roughly a 25-mile radius of Tunbridge Wells. Unlike many other providers, this includes most of the surrounding villages and rural areas. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, please give us a call!

What are your prices? Can I pay using the Kent Card?

Our live-in care rates start from £1,690 per week and vary depending on the level of care required.

We are also proud to support and accept the Kent Card.

What tasks can a live-in carer do?

Each live-in package is different, and the carer will pretty much adapt to whatever routine the person being cared for wants. We have clients who have very active lifestyles where the carer drives them to several places each week, to clients who, due to their condition, don’t leave the house so much, and the carer supports them at home with mobility, personal care, cooking, shopping, etc. It really comes down to each individual, and we’ll ensure your care is tailored to your needs.

Are your care professionals insured? Are they trained?

They must also complete a comprehensive mandatory training program annually. This covers things like medication support, safeguarding, first-aid, etc. In addition to that, they also do elective training modules for things like stoma care, PEG feeding, oxygen administration, mental health, etc.

My mum's dementia is advanced, can a live-in carer you still care for her at home?

Yes. We have clients with anything from early (mild) to late-stage (severe) dementia. All our care professionals receive specific dementia training and have plenty of experience in this area.

How quickly can you put a care package together?

We are very agile and can start care packages at very short notice. We tend to always have spare capacity, so if you need something quite urgently, give us a call on 01892 336842 or 01580 231701 and chances are we can put a package together for you in less than a week.

What happens when my carer needs time off?

The benefit of having our fully managed live-in care service is that your care will never be discontinued. If your care needs time off, we will provide a suitable replacement until your main carer is back.
